Performance Opportunities
Dancing on stage in front of an audience is an enriching experience for a dancer. It not only helps them improve their skills but also enhances their personal development. Participating in performances can help in building confidence, public speaking, self-discipline, self-motivation, teamwork, patience, and a strong desire to set and achieve goals. All of these qualities can be beneficial for a dancer's overall growth and future success in and out of the field of dance.
Audition-only performance & elite programs
These audition-only programs perform at 2-3 regional competitions, dance conventions, the Spring Concert, & local outreach programs. The elite program will be presented with exclusive opportunities like being a sponsored dancer, touring to be an assistant for dance conventions, discounts for workshops, and more.
Spring Showcase
Saturday, May 25
Abraham Lincoln High School
Council Bluffs, Iowa
Dancers ranging from the ages of three to nineteen have the opportunity to perform in the Spring Concert. This culminating event is specifically tailored to highlight the acquired skills of the dancers throughout the year. Starting in February, students will devote ten minutes of each class to the development of class choreography. Our studio's methodology differs from that of many recital studios, as we discourage the repetition of a single dance routine. We aim to cultivate versatile dancers with strong fundamental techniques. During the performance, dancers will be required to adorn their class dress code, along with a wrap skirt for ballet. Our studio's focus is centered on the continuous improvement of our dancers' artistry rather than on the costumes they wear.
